Selecting a Camera
The Camera button, designated by the icon, on the keypad allows
you to select a specific camera to control and display on the active monitor.
Each camera has a unique number associated with it. The
Camera button is
located to the right of the
0 button on the keypad. If you do not know the
number of the camera you want to call up, you can select from a list of
cameras. The procedure for selecting a camera from a list is described in
Chapter 4, “Using the On-Screen User’s Menu.”
Note
Make sure a monitor has been selected before you select a camera; the LCD
indicates whether a monitor has been selected.
To select a camera, use the number buttons on the keypad to enter the
camera number, and then press the
button.
This monitor is part of Workstation 1
(“W1”). This is monitor 2, and it is an
alarming monitor (“2A”). If this were
a general-use monitor, the “A” (for
“alarming”) would be replaced by a
“G” (for “general”).
When you select a monitor, the
address of the T
OUCH TRACKER you
are using is displayed here. Any
other T
OUCH TRACKERs that are
currently connected to this monitor
also have their addressees
displayed here. In this example,
T
OUCH TRACKERs 3 and 6 are
connected to this monitor.
